Geography:The entire village of Oak Park lies on the shore of the ancient Lake Chicago, which covered most of the city of Chicago during the last Ice Age and is today called Lake Michigan. It is approximately 9 miles West of Chicago.
Climate:It is generally around 60 degrees during the day and mostly cloudy.
Transportation:We live in Oak Park so our car is our method of transportation.

Information:Oak Park is best known for its Prairie Style houses that were designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and that it is the birthplace of Ernest Hemingway. It has many up and coming schools with a great community behind them. It's a great place to live and stay for an extended amount of time.
Activities:Wrigley Field-Cubs games are a frequent medium of entertainment for locals in the area. Sears Tower-This tower is the tallest tower in America. It has an observation deck that is 412 meters above the ground. Navy Pier-This pier is 1010 meters long and has a carnival like atmosphere with carousels and a large Ferris wheel. It is one of the premier things to do in all of Chicago.
